Find your future with us.</p> <p>Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager - MRB to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, MO!</p> <p>The manager will own Quality Material Review Board (MRB) activities, oversee nonconformance handling, and act as the primary liaison with our DCMA customer.</p> <p>Position responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supervise and coach union employees, apply collective bargaining agreements consistently, and document performance actions while fostering a safety- and quality-first culture.</p> </li><li> <p>Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead Quality MRB processes for nonconforming material, manage tag processing and disposition decisions (repair, rework, use-as-is, scrap), and ensure timely closure of nonconformance records (NCRs).</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate directly with DCMA and other customers during audits, notifications, and corrective action (CAPA) implementation; maintain contract and regulatory compliance.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive continuous improvement of quality processes, root-cause analysis, and preventive actions to reduce recurrence of nonconformances.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain traceability, records, and reporting aligned with AS9100/FAA requirements and internal quality systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.</p> </li><li> <p>Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.</p> </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>More than 3 years of experience working with MRB (Material Review Board) processes</p> </li><li> <p>More than 5 years of experience working in production and/or manufacturing environment</p> </li><li> <p>More than 3 years of experience in Nonconformance Processing</p> </li><li> <p>Experience leading key process, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives</p> </li><li> <p>Experience serving as a coach and/or mentor to others</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree or higher</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100))</p> </li><li> <p>Commercial derivative or military aircraft maintenance experience</p> </li></ul> <p>Conflict of Interest:</p> <p>Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process</p> <p>Drug Free Workplace:</p> <p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>This position is for 1st shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives</p> <p>At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
