The position description is as follows:</p> <p>Inspects and repairs welds on parts as necessary by performing the following duties</p> <ul> <li>Inspects components and assemblies for weld defects and/or missing welds </li><li>Repairs defective and/or missing welds on parts with welding equipment </li><li>Follows standardized written instructions for part specifications </li><li>Measures parts to ensure they meet specifications </li><li>Performs all duties and operates machinery and equipment according to OSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment </li><li>Reports production, quality and inventory information accurately </li><li>Monitors machine for proper operation and reports any malfunctions or problems to supervisor and maintenance </li><li>Performs routine and preventative maintenance and setup of equipment including, but not limited to tip changes, wire feed, etc. </li><li>Fills in for operators as necessary </li><li>Keeps work areas clean and orderly </li><li>Participates in continuous improvements activities </li><li>Able and willing to work any shift assigned, weekends and overtime </li><li>Regular and predictable attendance required </li><li>Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor </li></ul> <p>Required Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for reading and understanding the IATF16949, ISO9001:2015 and ISO-14001procedures located at K:/winapps/data/TS Team/Quality System Documentation </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <p>High school Diploma or general education degree (GED). One to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.</p> <p>Language Skills:</p> <p>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.</p> <p>Mathematical Skills:</p> <p>Basic Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.</p> <p>Reasoning Ability:</p> <p>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.</p> <p>Business Judgment:</p> <p>Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures in a professional and consistent manner.
