We're looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payments, resolving invoice discrepancies, and supporting financial compliance. In this role, you'll work across departments, manage essential documentation, and help maintain the integrity of our financial operations. If you have strong communication skills, Excel know-how, and a proactive mindset, we'd love to hear from you!</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure accurate payment processing, including but not limited to verifying Federal ID numbers, scheduling and preparing checks, resolving purchase orders, contracts, invoices, or payment discrepancies and documentation, ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos, issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments </li><li>Ensure proper supporting documentation (e.g. purchase order, approved and reconciled invoices/vendor statements, etc.) exists for all payments </li><li>Verify expense reports and audits the reports to ensure compliance with Travel & Entertainment policy </li><li>Assist with compliance of 1099 reporting and preparation </li></ul> <p>Qualifications: Education</p> <ul> <li>Some college-level work, with accounting courses and/or associated degree preferred </li></ul> <p>Qualifications: Experience</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of accounts payable functions, with experience with multiple systems highly valuable </li><li>Experience with MS Office including Excel skills </li></ul> <p>Qualifications: Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills </li><li>Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction </li><li>Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs </li><li>A history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problems </li></ul> <p>Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
