<p>General Function</p> <p>Assists with coordination of laboratory activities to support instructional programs.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ol> <li> <p>Assists with laboratory/clinical/ activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with monitoring students in a lab setting; process basic data entry.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in preparation of facility for classes and helps keep work areas are clean and neat; helps</p> </li></ol> <p>distribute lab materials and handouts.</p> <ol start="4"> <li>Assists in maintaining laboratory equipment; performs simple maintenance, cleans and stores </li></ol> <p>equipment when not in use, and notifies supervisor of any needed repairs.</p> <ol start="5"> <li> <p>Assists with inventory of materials and supplies, initiates ordering process as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with maintenance of lab library of materials which may include books, tapes, and magazines.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with maintenance of records of laboratory activities and student files including grades and</p> </li></ol> <p>attendance.</p> <ol start="8"> <li> <p>Assists students coming in to work or study outside of their class or lab meeting time.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ol> <p>Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>HS School Diploma or GED or Dual Enrolled in High School & Associate in Engineering Program </li><li>Student in the Associate in Engineering Degree Program from a regionally accredited institution with experience </li><li>Requires basic computer literacy (when appropriate) </li><li>Requires knowledge of standard procedures in the field </li></ul> <p>Preferred Requirements:</p> <p>Associate's Degree from an accredited institution in the discipline or related field and experience</p> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Working Days: Monday - Friday</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics:</p> <ul> <li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel individually and with a team </li><li>Knowledge of Engineering Disciplines </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks, and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds </li></ul>
