<p>Job Title: Project Manager</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Project Manager with a minimum of 4+ years of provable experience in commercial construction within Southern New England. The ideal candidate will have excellent document control and computer skills, the ability to read and comprehend vertical construction plans, and strong communication skills. This role requires someone who can work well with others and is self-driven.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage and oversee commercial construction projects from inception to completion. </li><li>Maintain and control all project documents, including RFI's and submittals. </li><li>Read and comprehend build specifications and blueprints. </li><li>Utilize project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project. </li><li>Coordinate project activities and ensure all tasks are completed on time and within budget. </li><li>Perform data entry and manage construction drawings. </li><li>Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. </li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>4+ years of experience in commercial construction, particularly with municipal projects. </li><li>Experience in ground-up and vertical construction, including new builds and renovations. </li><li>Proficiency in reading and understanding build specifications and blueprints. </li><li>Strong document control skills, including RFI's and submittals. </li><li>Advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel, MS Office, and project management software. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management (preferred). </li><li>6+ years of experience in commercial construction (preferred). </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The role is office-based, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, totaling a standard 40-hour work week. We do not offer hybrid work days but support a flexible approach if you need to leave for personal matters. We trust our employees to manage their time effectively without micromanagement.
