You will assist with loading materials, organizing inventory, supporting customers, and helping maintain daily yard operations.</p> <p>Candidates with experience in warehouse operations, landscaping, construction, outdoor labor, or related industries are strongly preferred. Forklift or equipment experience is a plus, but not required.</p> <p>This is a primarily on-site position based at our Salt Lake location. Candidates must be local and available to work during business hours, including Saturdays as needed.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Load customer vehicles, delivery trucks, and company vehicles safely and efficiently </li><li>Stack, organize, and move stone, pallets, and materials throughout the yard </li><li>Assist customers in locating products and answering product questions </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and work areas </li><li>Operate forklifts, loaders, and yard equipment safely after training </li><li>Cut stone using saws and other tools as needed </li><li>Follow safety procedures and company equipment standards </li><li>Support co-workers and supervisors with additional operational tasks </li><li>Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor safely </li><li>Ability to lift and move heavy materials </li><li>Strong work ethic and dependable attendance </li><li>Positive attitude and willingness to learn </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Candidates must be willing to provide professional references during the hiring process </li><li>Experience in warehouse, yard, landscaping, construction, outdoor labor, or related roles </li><li>Forklift or loader experience preferred, but not required </li><li>Spanish is a plus </li></ul> <p>Schedule</p> <p>Business hours (Monday to Saturday; schedule may vary based on business needs)</p> <p>About American Stone</p> <p>American Stone is a family-owned company supplying stone products for construction, landscaping, and retail customers.
