Visit our website derse.com to learn more!</p> <p>As the Project Manager - Construction, you'll work with a variety of teams in monitoring & managing project statuses, creative solution implementation, budget allocation, and resource distributions on various custom projects. The position must reside within the Waukegan area office to best support their ongoing projects. Read through and apply if this sounds like the opportunity for you!</p> <p>Project Manager - Construction Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assumes complete accountability for assigned construction projects, ensuring project quality, budgets and timelines are met. </li><li>Coordinate the post-sale work order process for all assigned accounts/Account Executives. </li><li>Secure necessary information to properly process a work order. </li><li>Review the estimate for general agreement with completeness, hours, materials and subcontract dollars. </li><li>Determine the need & scope for detail drawings / set up drawings and initiate all work with detailing. </li><li>Assign labor and material by department codes to all quoted and T&M work orders. </li><li>Lead quality put-to-detail, put-to-work and final job review meetings prior to shipment. </li><li>Write purchase order requisitions for direct purchase materials. </li><li>Utilize demonstrated technical skills including proficiency in AutoCAD & MS Office. </li><li>Additional responsibilities may be assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Project Manager - Construction Requirements & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree and / or 5 or more years of industry-based experience required. </li><li>Experience working with advanced woodworking techniques & electrical implementation required. </li><li>Possess a strong understanding of basic electrical requirements and ability to read blueprints. </li><li>Good mix of financial acumen and ability to juggle multiple duration projects simultaneously. </li><li>Ability to travel to show-site to oversee installation and dismantle efforts, as needed. </li></ul> <p>Salary and Benefits Information</p> <ul> <li>Salary Range: $72,000.00 to $95,000.00 Annually. </li><li>Benefits at Derse include; Medical (HRA & HSA), Dental & Vision Insurance, FSA, Employer-paid Life Insurance, 401k Profit Sharing, 3-weeks of Vacation and more. </li></ul> <p>This position must reside within the Waukegan area office.</p>
