<p>POSITION TITLE: Operator 3, Machine Liquid</p> <p>REPORTING TO: Supervisor, Production</p> <p>LOCATION: St. Albans</p> <p>About the role:</p> <p>The Operator 3, Machine Liquid is responsible for all phases of transforming raw materials into finished product.</p> <p>SHIFT HOURS: Sunday Monday and Tuesday 7:00pm - 7:15am and Wednesday 7:00pm - 1:15am. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Perform the duties of an Operator 2, Machine Liquid </li><li>Adjust pre-refiner/refiner and conch temperatures and product fineness according to recipe and customer specifications </li><li>Manually add raw materials like powders, fat, flavors and emulsifiers in different parts of the process according to recipes </li><li>Verify viscosity of finished product and adjust as needed </li><li>Enter recipe data according to production schedule </li><li>Record raw material incoming number on production order sheet </li><li>Enters performance confirmations and shift information into SAP </li><li>Pump product from conches to finished/vertical tanks according to production schedule </li><li>Conduct basic and preventative maintenance, report improvements as needed </li><li>Sample finished products </li><li>Requesting and transferring raw materials from storage silo to daily bin </li><li>Break coverage </li><li>PTO coverage </li><li>Train level 2 and level 3 Machine Operators </li></ul> <p>About you:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>Good math skills, required </li><li>Minimum two(2) years manufacturing experience, required </li><li>Basic computer knowledge, required </li><li>Trained in Quality/Sensory, preferred </li><li>Trained in Chocolate Manufacturing, preferred </li><li>Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time </li><li>Bend, squat, stretch, reach: frequently </li><li>Ability to climb stairs, often </li><li>Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, often </li><li>Comfortable working at heights </li><li>Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility </li><li>Noise level can exceed 0.85 decibels </li></ul> <p>What you can expect from Barry Callebaut:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package </li><li>12 paid holidays, generous PTO, plus your birthday off </li><li>Maternity and Paternity Benefits </li><li>Environment that welcomes workplace flexibility </li><li>An atmosphere where diversity is embraced, and inclusivity is second nature.
