<p>Pay $90,000 - $100,000 annually</p> <p>The Director of Crisis & Forensic Services supports and provides oversight of UCP behavioral health crisis and forensic programs under licensures from Office of Mental Health (OMH), Office of Addiction Supports and Services (OASAS) and contracted behavioral health services.</p> <p>The Director oversees the crisis and forensic programs continuum of care for clients served by the Behavioral Health division. Direct oversight is provided to the Supportive Crisis Stabilization Center (SCSC), Forensic ACT team, and the Crisis Residential and Respite programs. In addition, the Director of Crisis and Forensic Services works in close partnership with all BH program leadership and works collaboratively with the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), to support alignment of crisis services across the continuum of care.</p> <p>Core Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Establish, implement and maintain crisis and forensic program models. </li><li>Develop, implement and maintain all necessary policies and supporting procedures to meet all program regulatory requirements and operational needs. </li><li>Develop working relationships with regulatory bodies to support effective grant and license management. </li><li>Complete all licensing requirements, initial and ongoing while collaborating with quality and special projects teams. </li><li>Maintain a current and working knowledge of all applicable regulations for Crisis and Forensic programming under applicable OMH, OASAS, MHOTRS, CCBHC, and other programming assigned and collaborating programs are contracted to provide. </li><li>Establish and maintain a work environment conducive to performance excellence and full participation of individuals or teams. </li><li>Work collaboratively with Behavioral Health Division Clinical, Operations and Quality teams to support program goals and outcomes. </li><li>Work collaboratively across division leadership team(s) to identify and implement strategies to effectively ensure employee recruitment, engagement and retention that are cohesive to all goals and initiatives of the crisis programs. </li><li>Lead assigned program teams in the delivery of professional, efficient and effective services. </li><li>Work in collaboration with the divisions training and quality team to develop trainings for all staff that promote high quality service delivery. </li><li>Work in collaboration with Quality team to address data management of the programs to ensure efficient monitoring of the day to day operations of service delivery. </li><li>Work in collaboration with division Quality team to establish procedures to audit program records to ensure regulatory compliance is maintained. </li><li>Oversee the Crisis leadership team(s), focusing on developing their leadership and Crisis supervision skills to support the Crisis team. </li><li>Lead specific skill teams (i.e. clinical, nursing, medical) to ensure medical services are adequately supported and all functions of nursing are met per regulatory requirements. </li><li>Work with quality team to establish, maintain and monitor policies, procedures, and regulations of the Agency and external regulatory bodies. </li><li>Identify data necessary to support process improvement, achieve performance results, strategic planning and to facilitate leadership decisions. </li><li>Establish and maintain positive relationships with consumers, families, community organizations, referral sources, and governing bodies. Serves as a point of contact for escalated concerns from any of these stakeholders and works to resolution with individual. </li><li>Lead client satisfaction surveying process, as defined by applicable regulations and program requirements to determine customer requirements, expectations, and how relationships with customers are built and their satisfaction determined and maintained. </li><li>Review and analyze services, both programmatically and fiscally, to meet the current and future needs of consumers, families, community, staff and agency. </li><li>In collaboration with Executive VP of Behavioral Health Services or designee, develop annual strategic plan for Division. </li><li>Partner with division leadership to proactively address the strategic plan and develop and implement a work plan to support achieving annual goals and objectives. </li><li>Represent agency and Division services by serving on assigned committee memberships, to include Local Government Unit meetings and other external community forums to garner support and information for the services of the agency. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all pertinent licensure, government and agency regulations and operating standards. </li><li>Support the development of and implement electronic health record (EHR) systems that effectively address documentation standards and requirements for all services rendered. </li><li>Collaborate with leadership teams to identify and influence change. </li><li>Support other key leadership in the promotion of collaborative crisis care between the behavioral health programs. </li><li>Lead programmatic initiatives, to include contributing to new program development, as identified in strategic planning and as assigned. </li><li>Support grant writing and other philanthropy activities to support on-going funding for programs, as assigned. </li><li>Other duties as assigned and as align with role. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Masters' Degree in Crisis field or equivalent required. </li><li>Terminate clinical degree (LCSW/LCSW-R) preferred. </li><li>5-7 years Crisis experience, to include previous leadership experience. </li><li>Must have valid NYS Driver's License </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Our work environment provides the opportunity to grow and learn in a fast-paced atmosphere.
