<p>The OB Sonographer 3 will perform high-risk OB/GYN imaging exams/procedures under the direction of Maternal Fetal Medicine and GYN Imaging physicians, following established protocols. Responsible for obtaining and correlating clinical history with indicated exam/procedure. Must be able to use the independent judgement necessary to obtain all required information, images & measurements. Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of fetal/gynecological anatomy & physiology, and technical sonographic principles. Must deliver patient care in accordance with USFTGP mission, vision, and values. Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Required:</p> <p>Education: Completion of a formal accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with ARDMS registry in OB/GYN. Current BLS certification required.</p> <p>Certification Required</p> <p>ARDMS OB/GYN</p> <p>BLS</p> <p>Work Experience and Additional Information</p> <p>Experience level: Minimum of 3 years of OB/GYN sonography experience required. Must demonstrate current knowledge and level of expertise generally obtained through national certification required to perform high-risk OB/GYN sonograms.</p> <p>Key Accountabilities</p> <p>Under supervision of the OB/GYN Sonographer Supervisor and in accordance with established protocols, performs the following OB/GYN sonograms and procedures:</p> <p>GYN:</p> <ul> <li>2D/3D GYN sonograms · Hysterosalpingo-Contrast-Sonogram </li><li>Saline Infusion Sonohysterography · Ultrasound guidance for various GYN procedures </li></ul> <p>OB:</p> <ul> <li>Early pregnancy viability · Fetal growth </li><li>Nuchal Translucency evaluation · Biophysical Profile </li><li>Fetal Anatomy and Level II sonograms · Fetal Doppler studies </li><li>Fetal Echocardiography · Ultrasound guidance for Amniocentesis and Chorionic Villous Sampling procedures </li></ul>
