This role is perfect for a science enthusiast eager to contribute to innovative sensory studies and research.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Administer sensory studies and internal trainings by following team instructions and plans. Tasks include setting up testing rooms, labeling cups, preparing and serving samples, and cleaning up. </li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area by documenting samples, stocking supplies, performing routine cleaning tasks, and calibrating equipment. </li><li>Analyze and report results of small-scale routine sensory studies using sensory software and Excel to setup and auto-report data. </li><li>Interact effectively with the sensory team to plan resources and clearly communicate issues for resolution. </li><li>Support sensory team goals and activities. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams. </li><li>Basic math skills, including percentages, conversions, and ratios. </li><li>Service and detail-oriented. </li><li>Good planning and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and take initiative. </li><li>Flexible and curious. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in a scientific lab or food preparation is desirable. </li><li>Must be willing to work around and with potential food allergens, primarily dairy, soy, tree nuts, and gluten. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position requires full-time, on-site work from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm in Marysville.
