Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Project Manager provides leadership on internal non-technical projects or programs from initiation through delivery. Gathers required data from end users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to define deliverables. Ensures that all targets and requirements are met and are completed on schedule and within budget. Works closely with various internal departments to ensure successful completion of projects. Keep leadership informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results. Entry-level position within field. Requires little to no experience in discipline. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures, including complying with all Rush University Medical Group Customer Service Standards.</p> <p>Required Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree. </li><li>Three years of project experience. </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet Explorer; strong spreadsheet and database skills. </li><li>Excellent organizational and analytical skills. </li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills. </li><li>Ability to function independently and in a team-based environment. Ability to work effectively with various levels of employees and management; ability to build consensus across diverse groups. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business. </li><li>Experience working with physician groups and IS. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Manage multiple projects simultaneously</p> </li><li> <p>Direct and manage project development and progress from beginning to end.</p> </li><li> <p>Define and document within the project initiation deliverables (e.g. Charter, Device Requirements Spreadsheets, etc.), the project technology scope, goals and deliverables supporting business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes</p> </li><li> <p>Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.</p> </li><li> <p>Estimate and identify the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop scaled project plans and associated communications documents using standard tools</p> </li><li> <p>Plans will address all aspects of the standard technology implementation life cycle including design, procurement, installation, build/configure, test, train, go-live and close</p> </li><li> <p>Plans will include a Work Breakdown Schedule including activities/tasks, responsible parties, milestones and schedule</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate or participate in routine project team meetings to establish and continually manage project requirements and expectations with team members and other stakeholders</p> </li><li> <p>Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.</p> </li><li> <p>Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Track and report status (progress, next steps, issues) against project plans to appropriate stakeholders and senior management based upon agreed to communication plans</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and resolve issues/conflicts and/or escalate where appropriate for resolution.</p> </li><li> <p>Proactively manage potential scope and schedule changes to eliminate or minimize. Where required, escalate based upon standards established within communication plan.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.</p> </li></ol> <p>Rush is an equal opportunity employer.
