For more information, visit hormelfoods.com.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>This Customer Executive position is accountable for managing the GP, MP, Deli and Fresherized Portfolios for Ingles. This position is also responsible for leading brokers partners on the Deli and Fresherized business.</p> <ul> <li>Develops, implements, and executes sales and distribution plans at the account level. </li><li>Collaborates with their Customer Business Manager and the Category Sales Strategy team to develop annual Sales plans that are aligned with those of the operating units. </li><li>Identifies threats and opportunities in the categories that we compete in that could affect sales volume, market share, trade efficiencies and profitability to the company and communicates them to their Customer Business Manager. </li><li>Aligns distribution, shelving, merchandising, pricing (DSMP) established by the Grocery, Meat, Deli and Fresherized Product segments to ensure the execution of DSMP objectives are met. </li><li>Interprets information from the Category Sales Strategy team regarding category sales, brand sales, share growth and promotional efficiency. From this information the incumbent provides insights and recommendations on tactics used to drive sales on Hormel brands. </li><li>Is responsible for continuing to develop and enhance their competencies through participation in learning and development workshops. These include, but are not limited to training available at the local, regional and national meetings intended to improve selling techniques, knowledge of the customer and company, and other business practice. </li><li>Conducts routine discussions with the customer reviewing trade practices and efficiencies, recommending new tactics that are mutually beneficial in delivering profitable sales. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. </li><li>1+ year of sales/marketing/sales strategy experience. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to understand and apply business analytics. </li><li>Pattern of initiative. </li><li>Proven problem solving and decision-making skills. </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment on a variety of complex projects. </li><li>Well-developed interpersonal, organizational skills and analytical skills. </li><li>Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Ability to take opportunities from conception to execution. </li><li>Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States. </li><li>Applicants must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa. </li></ul> <p>At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
