<p>Hours:7:30a-4:30p- Flexibility to work to 6:00pm when needed. Overtime paid</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Receive all inbound shipments and packages </li><li>Use hand held scanner to control all inbound and outbound accountable packages </li><li>Deliver all mail and inbound shipments throughout the building within two hours of receipt </li><li>Track all assets received into the Data Center {receive, review, receipt, document, process, prepare, identify, separate, deliver, transport, etc.} </li><li>Deliver, pickup, and transport assets and material within, between, to and from various locations {docks, offices, buildings, sites, etc.} </li><li>Receive items with Purchase Orders in Oracle/Receiving Program. </li><li>Insure items received in Oracle are error and defect free. </li><li>Ensure data entry into internal databases is done accurately and within established time frames.- Coordinate with Asset Management and IT, the disposal and recycling of retired desktop computer equipment. </li><li>Prepare material for processing, shipment and/or transportation. </li><li>Enter activity data in logs and maintain accurate records. </li><li>Ensure all safety procedures are followed at all times. </li><li>Handle work order service requests into applicable format. </li><li>Prepare and process outbound courier shipments using computer or service provider's equipment </li><li>Communicate to customers when items should arrive at locations. </li><li>Rate shop shipping of equipment with commercial carriers and private freight companies </li><li>Supervise staff of one. </li><li>Prepare, daily, weekly and monthly reports as required </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>1-3 years of shipping/receiving experience </li><li>Experience with inventory control in a warehouse/ office services environment </li><li>Must possess excellent organizational skills </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lb boxes </li><li>Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience utilizing Oracle. </li><li>Experienced in using Microsoft Office Software ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint ) </li><li>Be familiar with IT environment terminology (i.e.HP and dell hardware, patch cords, power cords) </li><li>Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. </li><li>Ability to work effectively as an individual or within a team environment. </li><li>Competency in performing multiple functional tasks. </li><li>Skilled at operating mobile equipment such as pallet jack and server lift </li></ul>
