At DZYNE, you'll find not just a job, but a purpose-driven environment where you can thrive.</p> <p>Position: Capture Manager - Air Defense</p> <p>Location: Boise, ID</p> <p>Position Description:</p> <p>DZYNE Technologies is seeking a results-driven Capture Manager to lead the pursuit of new business opportunities within our Air Defense business unit. This role is responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive capture strategies, coordination of proposal efforts, and leadership of cross-functional teams to secure successful contract awards.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, technical acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. The Capture Manager will drive efforts across the full business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification and qualification through proposal submission and contract award.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement winning capture strategies aligned with business objectives and customer needs. </li><li>Lead and manage all phases of the capture and proposal process, including planning, resource coordination, schedule management, and compliance oversight </li><li>Collaborate with customers to refine requirements and shape acquisition strategies </li><li>Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform proposal strategy and pricing </li><li>Assist with generating compliant, compelling proposals, including technical volumes and supporting documentation </li><li>Partner with technical, operational, and business development teams to establish basis-of-estimate, teaming arrangements, and solution architectures </li><li>Support proposal development activities, including kick-off meetings, writing assignments, color team reviews, and final submission </li><li>Support timely, accurate, and 100% compliant submission of all proposals in accordance with RFP requirements, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and internal standards </li><li>Identify and mitigate capture-related risks </li><li>Contribute to continuous process improvement and share best practices with the broader BD team </li><li>Prepare program kickoff meetings in collaboration with Program Managers to ensure seamless transition to execution after contract award </li><li>Conduct internal team meetings, delegate tasks, and maintain alignment across disciplines and project phases </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Solid understanding of the DoD acquisition process and FAR </li><li>Proven ability to lead and manage complex capture efforts under tight deadlines </li><li>Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, communication, and time-management </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and professional integrity </li><li>Ability to work independently in a hybrid or remote setting </li><li>Self-starter with minimal need for supervision </li><li>Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills </li><li>Professional demeanor and customer-focused mindset </li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities </li><li>Team-oriented with a mission-first attitude </li><li>Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Successful track record of leading winning proposal efforts for DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) contracts </li><li>Shipley Capture Manager certified training </li><li>Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) certified training </li><li>Familiarity with basic graphic design, Adobe tools, and web-based applications </li><li>High level of technical proficiency and adaptability in fast-paced environments </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Management, Engineering, or experience in a related field </li><li>5-10+ years of experience in federal business capture or proposal management </li></ul> <p>Clearance Level Required: Security Clearance Not Required (Secret Preferred)</p> <p>Travel: Up to 10%</p> <p>Salary: $170,000 - $190,000 annually</p> <p>Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus.</p> <p>Our benefits are DZYNE'ed for your overall health and financial wellness.
