Our portfolio includes a wide array of reputable brands like Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Hyatt as well as many unique, independent, boutique and lifestyle properties and restaurants.</p> <p>JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Generate Accounts Payables aging's and submit to staff accountant for approval. </li><li>Process daily check runs. </li><li>Pull necessary checks that need additional signatures. </li><li>Attach copies of check in the Accounting Software after processing. </li><li>Review check runs after print to ensure accuracy. </li><li>Ensure all checks are be folded, stamped and mailed. </li><li>Submit positive pay files to the appropriate bank. </li><li>Facilitate emergency checks as needed. </li><li>Assist with check research as needed. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting field required </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Meet all check processing deadlines as required </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Ability to produce results with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills </li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy </li><li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office </li><li>The hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
