<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>High Risk Obstetrical Consultants is looking for a full-time, bilingual (Spanish), experienced Patient Service Representative (PSR) for check in/out. Position is based in Knoxville on the campus of UT Medical Center. Candidates must have experience with answering incoming telephone lines, scheduling, and checking patients in and out.</p> <p>Job duties include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Greet patients in friendly and timely manner. </li><li>Present a positive attitude, professional appearance, and willingness to learn </li><li>Ensure that patients complete necessary forms required for medical chart and billing office </li><li>Coordination of office visits with other OB practices and clinics </li><li>Answer patient inquiries regarding patient registration information or billing questions </li><li>Refers patient inquiries regarding medical care or treatment to medical assistant or physician </li><li>Ensures good patient flow through practice by timely processing of patients as they arrive at office </li><li>Comfortable with asking patients for appropriate co-pays and balances due </li><li>Working with medical records </li><li>Effective communication with team members including providers </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li><li>Compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and all other office policies and procedure </li><li>Scanning of medical records </li></ul> <p>Generous salary and benefits available, including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life Insurance, 401k, and more!</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>1 - 2 years' experience in medical office setting </li><li>Bilingual in Spanish </li><li>Willingness to be cross trained in other job functions </li><li>Ability to multi-task and learn various roles within the front office </li><li>Sitting, walking, working on a computer, and lifting up to 10lbs </li></ul>
