<p>H2O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses across North America.</p> <p>H2O is currently seeking a Lift Station Technician to join our team in Laurel, Mississippi.</p> <p>The Benefits</p> <p>Overall remuneration includes:</p> <ul> <li>Health Insurance, Dental, Vision & Telemedicine. </li><li>Health Savings Account. </li><li>Life Insurance. </li><li>401K Retirement Plan with Employer Contributions. </li><li>Paid Vacation & Sick Days. </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections. </li><li>Inspect, maintain, and repair lift station pumps, motors and controls. </li><li>Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in pumps and control panels. </li><li>Monitor system performance and respond to alarms or emergency calls. </li><li>Clean and maintain wet wells, valves, and related equipment. </li><li>Keep accurate service logs, reports, and maintenance records </li><li>Operate hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and power tools safely. </li><li>Follow safety protocols, including confined space and lockout/tagout procedures. </li><li>Assist with other wastewater system repairs as needed. </li></ul> <p>The Skills We Are Looking For</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred). </li><li>Valid driver's license required. </li><li>Experience with pumps, motors, and electrical systems strongly preferred. </li><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in confined spaces/outdoor conditions. </li><li>Knowledge of wastewater operations or previous utility/maintenance work is a plus. </li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. </li></ul> <p>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity in our workforce</p> <p>#INDEED</p> <p>#ZR</p>
