The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to assist the Dean, Associate Dean, faculty, and staff within the assigned division.</p> <p>Working within established institutional policies and procedures, the Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative support activities, including assisting with daily operations and the management of office activities and tasks; providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and the public; resolving inquiries in a timely and professional manner; managing calendars, deadlines, and the division-wide schedule of classes using technology-driven systems; preparing and processing forms, purchase orders, budget-tracking materials, and division reports in compliance with institutional policies; preparing and maintaining adjunct contracts and related records; developing and maintaining organized electronic and physical filing systems for records, reports, and correspondence; assisting with and coordinating special projects, events, and initiatives under the direction of the Dean or Associate Dean; interacting with other departments across the College; and upholding confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information and personnel matters.</p> <p>Positions may be assigned to either the Chester or Midlothian Campus, with location subject to change based on the needs of the College. Candidates must be willing to work both day and evening shifts, as needed.</p> <p>Special Assignments</p> <p>May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
