<p>Position Summary: Conducts cashiering functions for casino guests in accordance with established standards and controls.</p> <p>Job Title: Cage Cashier</p> <p>Department: Cage</p> <p>Reports To: Supervisor Cage</p> <p>FLSA Designation: Non-exempt</p> <p>License Type: Gaming</p> <p>Target Pay: Start - $22.59 One Year - $25.10</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Greets and services guests in accordance with established guest service standards </li><li>Issue Rush Rewards member cards to new or returning guests </li><li>Handles financial transactions including exchanging cash for slot tickets, chips, cash advances, cashing checks, cashless wagering, front money, RSI online betting, and cigarette sales </li><li>Computes, classifies, records, and verifies cash and coins according to specific policies and procedures and guest service standards </li><li>Process table fills and credits and/or ticket redemption machine fills/credits and jackpots as needed </li><li>Balances funds and assets at the end of each work shift </li><li>Responds to guest questions and concerns </li><li>Maintains self redemption machines. These tasks include but are not limited to fills, drops, balancing, and fixing errors that occur at the machine </li><li>Complies with all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations including, but not limited to, Title 31 cash transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting, and customer identification requirements </li><li>Assists with the cleanliness of the casino property Front and Heart of House </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be 21 years of age or older </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>One or more years of Cashier/cash handling or related experience is preferred </li><li>Must be available to work a flexible schedule, weekends and holidays </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use of hand to finger dexterity, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms; stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time </li><li>Must occasionally lift up to 30 pounds </li><li>Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel </li><li>Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor </li><li>Possible exposure to high noise level for extended periods of time </li></ul>
