If you have mechanical assembly and surface preparation experience and enjoy hands-on, detail-oriented work, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.</p> <p>Pay: $20.78/hour</p> <p>Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions </li><li>Assemble products or components using hand/power tools and machinery </li><li>Inspect parts for quality and accuracy </li><li>Maintain clear and accurate production documentation </li><li>Report defects, material shortages, or equipment issues to your supervisor </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized work area </li><li>Set up and operate abrasive blasting equipment </li><li>Remove rust, paint, and debris using appropriate media (e.g., sand, grit) </li><li>Inspect surfaces before and after blasting to ensure readiness for painting or coating </li><li>Perform basic equipment maintenance and report any issues </li><li>Follow all safety procedures and environmental guidelines </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED preferred </li><li>1+ year of experience in mechanical assembly or industrial blasting required </li><li>Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods </li><li>Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality standards </li></ul> <p>Why You'll Love This Job:</p> <p>We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your health, financial goals, and work-life balance.
