<p>JOIN OUR TEAM AND EXPERIENCE ENDLESS CAREER POSSIBILITIES</p> <p>IF YOU ARE AN EXISTING TEAM MEMBER, PLEASE CLICK THE FOLLOWING LINK TO BE TAKEN TO THE INTERNAL CAREER SITE: MOHEGAN INTERNAL CAREER SITE</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>This position is responsible for installing, building and maintaining all structural and themeing elements in the facility, as directed by the supervisor.</p> <p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Sets metal door frames and is responsible for all steel wall construction </li><li>Constructs, laminates and installs cabinets </li><li>Provides building maintenance and repair </li><li>Performs finish work, such as installing interior and exterior trim </li></ul> <p>Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provides general building repair and maintenance </li><li>Responsible for all department logs and labor recording pertinent to the day-to-day job duties </li><li>Maintains a clean and safe work environment </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Four years of commercial carpentry experience </li><li>Thorough knowledge of all phases of cabinet construction and lamination </li><li>Must be familiar with the safe and effective use of all types of power tools </li><li>Must have experience with setting metal door frames and steel wall construction </li></ul> <p>Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:</p> <p>.</p> <ul> <li>Basic knowledge of the safe and effective use of all types of power tools </li><li>Ability to interpret and follow carpentry instructions and specifications such as blueprints, manuals, sketches and work orders </li><li>Measures and accurately calculates dimensions </li></ul> <p>Training Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Respirator training and fit tested </li><li>Man lift training (scissor and boom lift) </li><li>Forklift training </li><li>Fall training </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to work in a smoking environment as well as various weather conditions including extreme hot and cold </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Must be able to bend, stoop and climb a ladder </li><li>Ability to wear a breathing mask </li><li>Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours </li></ul> <p>This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with this job.
