<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Nissan QC Tech provides data collection and reporting for all manufacturing assembly operations. Associates must accurately record and report this data to operations and provide corrective and containment assistance to the manufacturing team.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <p>This position is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations</p> <ul> <li> <p>Collect accurate inspection data and be able to report these findings to operational personnel</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a safety and customer service mindset at all times</p> </li><li> <p>Assure that analytical equipment is in good working order and that inspections and maintenance activities are executed on schedule</p> </li><li> <p>Manage QC audit routes and complete requirements by their scheduled completion</p> </li><li> <p>Identify, correct, and document discrepancies</p> </li><li> <p>Notify customer with concerns and work collectively with manufacturing and technical personnel to resolve issues</p> </li><li> <p>Document and report non-conformances and identify equipment trends</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a back-up for other QC Techs</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a safe and clean work environment</p> </li><li> <p>Meet or exceed all site contractor requirements, including random drug screening, safety practices, ethical conduct, and any other appropriate requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Effectively communicate with management, maintenance, and other employees in a timely manner when quality activities dictate action</p> </li><li> <p>Develop proficiency to train and coach others</p> </li><li> <p>May perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Site Manager</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School degree or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>High speed manufacturing machine experience preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Electrical, Mechanical, or QC/QA background preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and statistical analysis preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Intermediate Microsoft office skills</p> </li><li> <p>Must demonstrate excellent customer service</p> </li><li> <p>Must demonstrate self motivation, initiative, honesty, integrity, and attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to identify best practices and bring innovation to the work environment</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to learn basic electrical and mechanical concepts</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Core Competencies:</p> <p>Commitment to Excellence - Check your work</p> <p>Customer Relationship Management - communicate with customers to deliver better service</p> <p>Methodical Approach - troubleshooting</p> <p>Team Building</p> <p>Physical Demands of the Position:</p> <p>Works in close proximity to manufacturing equipment</p> <p>Walks 2 - 4 miles in an 8 hour shift</p> <p>Stands greater than four hours at a time</p> <p>Stoops and bends below knee level 8 - 10 times an hour</p> <p>Lifts and carries less than 50 pounds but greater than 25 pounds repetitively</p> <p>Pushes / pulls objects greater than 25 pounds</p> <p>Reaches out</p> <p>Reaches overhead</p> <p>Repetitively uses feet</p> <p>Repetitively uses hands</p> <p>Grips with hands</p>
