<p>Reporting to the Director of Facilities, the Facilities Assistant supports the maintenance, operations, and activities of the Credit Union at all its locations.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Ensures the Credit Union's buildings, grounds and equipment are clean, safe and properly maintained by performing general and light maintenance, and routine maintenance of facility grounds. </li><li>Assists with maintenance of internal offices and furnishings, which includes moving and assembling office furniture, supplies, lighting maintenance, and related tasks. </li><li>Supports records management (e.g., storage, retrieval, removal, destruction) including transport and destruction of documents. </li><li>Assists with supplies management including inventorying, orders and processing, handling, and distribution. </li><li>Provides support to the Information Technology team, as needed, with equipment installations </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent (associate degree, technical degree, or apprenticeship program preferred) </li><li>Two (2) or more years' facilities experience preferred </li><li>Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite preferred </li><li>Ability to resolve routine and complex maintenance problems quickly and efficiently </li><li>Basic understanding of facilities systems and controls (e.g., HVAC) </li><li>Strong interpersonal/communication and teamwork skills </li><li>Schedule flexibility requiring "off hours" and irregular hours to ensure timely branch/office openings and operations </li><li>Valid driver's license and good driving record </li><li>Indoor and outdoor physical activity is required, in all types of weather. </li><li>Physical demands range from walking, standing, bending/stooping, crawling, climbing steps, to lifting/carrying/moving items up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Requires ability to respond to ad hoc after-hours urgent facilities/maintenance situations. </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS:</p> <p>RFCU offers a comprehensive benefits package, including Cigna medical benefits, dental benefits, vision benefits ,a 401(k) plan with company match and profit-sharing potential, flexible health and dependent care plans, and life, AD&D, and LTD insurance.
