<p>The Apprentice will work alongside licensed technicians to learn the ins and outs of working on HVAC equipment and expand the skill set.</p> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following:</p> <ul> <li>Assist licensed technicians with installing, maintaining, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and boiler systems. </li><li>Assist with service and installations including testing equipment, mounting equipment, performing diagnosis, adjusting refrigerant and wiring controls. </li><li>Assist techs, however possible, taking the time to get familiar with equipment and proper procedures. </li><li>Maintain a clean work environment, gathering all tools and materials at the end of the day. </li></ul> <p>Required Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Diploma from a technical High School. </li><li>Valid Driver's License. </li><li>Minimum of an OSHA 10 certification. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with varied audiences, e.g., project managers. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands & Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>Requires physical work, lifting, pushing and/or pulling objects up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Requires the ability to stand, sit, squat, walk and climb during shift. </li><li>Exposure to hot & cold temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. </li></ul> <p>Other Duties:</p> <p>This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
