<p>Survey Party Chief</p> <p>Full-time non-exempt Professional</p> <p>Lake Oswego, OR. With over 2,000 experts across 90+ offices, we deliver smart, data-driven solutions that help shape a more sustainable future.</p> <p>The Survey Party Chief is responsible for leading field survey crews in the execution of boundary, topographic, construction, ALTA, and control surveys throughout Oregon State. This role oversees daily field operations, ensures data accuracy and completeness, maintains equipment, and serves as the primary field liaison between the survey team, project managers, contractors, and clients. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, safety-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in coordinating survey activities in compliance with Oregon State standards and regulations.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of progressive survey field experience, including experience as a Crew Chief or Party Chief. </li><li>Strong working knowledge of Oregon State surveying practices, standards, and regulations. </li><li>Proficiency with modern survey equipment (Trimble, Leica, or Topcon preferred). </li><li>Experience with data collection software and familiarity with CAD platforms (e.g., Civil 3D). </li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction plans. </li><li>Valid Oregon State driver's license with clean driving record. </li><li>Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and terrain. </li><li>Strong communication and leadership skills. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Associates Degree preferred </li><li>Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) certification highly desired </li><li>PLSO Certified Survey Technician </li><li>Drafting experience in AutoCAD/Civil3D </li><li>Static scanning experience </li><li>FAA Part 107 Drone License </li><li>First Aid/CPR certification </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS SNAPSHOT:</p> <ul> <li>Hybrid work model & flexible scheduling </li><li>401(k) with up to 3.5% company match </li><li>Medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA </li><li>Paid time off, holidays, and wellness programs </li><li>Short & long-term disability, life, and AD&D insurance </li><li>Culture that supports belonging, equity, and inclusion </li></ul> <p>PACE is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity in the workplace.
