<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Ichor is looking for an Engineering Technician to draft assembly instructions and interface with operations team to drive manufacturing improvements. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills with a passion for problem solving and process development.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Write technical work instructions for manufacturing </li><li>Participate in release of the new products to manufacturing </li><li>Build manufacturing fixtures and jigs </li><li>Resolve problems and make routine recommendations </li><li>Assist engineers in trouble shooting and modifications </li><li>Operate manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment </li><li>Work independently under general supervision </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to operate manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment and adhere to safety policies </li><li>Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>CAD familiarity and view configuration management </li><li>Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills </li><li>Capacity to function effectively in a cross-disciplinary environment </li><li>Intermediate MS Office, Outlook, Word and Excel skills </li><li>Ability to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs. </li></ul> <p>Desired Education, Certifications and Experience</p> <ul> <li>2-4+ years engineering or related work experience </li><li>A.A. Degree or equivalent work experience, or any combination of education and experience </li><li>Previous experience applying engineering technology theories </li></ul>
