<p>SAP Release Manager</p> <p>Duration: 6-month Contract to Hire</p> <p>Location: Hybrid in Charlotte, NC</p> <p>Compensation: $60-65/hour W2</p> <p>Our global Fortune 500 client, with U.S. headquarters in Charlotte, NC, is a world class food service provider with a strong presence across the nation. CRG has successfully placed over 220 employees within the last 7 years within this organization, known for its continuous growth opportunities, fantastic benefits package, innovative technology, flexible work environment, and collaborative culture.</p> <p>We're looking for a proactive leader to own end-to-end release planning, coordinate code deployments, and streamline communication across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs). In this high-impact role, you'll be at the forefront of shaping and governing release strategies across both N+1 project and support landscapes. Your expertise will ensure seamless delivery, system stability, and alignment across complex enterprise environments.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage and oversee end-to-end SAP S/4HANA release cycles across both project (N+1) and support landscapes. </li><li>Coordinate code deployments across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and ensure alignment across project and support workstreams. </li><li>Maintain a unified release calendar for the N+1 and support environments, ensuring conflict-free transport sequencing and deployment windows. </li><li>Collaborate with BASIS, QA, Development, and Functional teams to plan and validate cutovers, code freezes, and dual-track deployments. </li><li>Drive consistency and quality across DEV, QA, Pre-PRD, PRD, and sandbox environments. </li><li>Lead release readiness reviews, manage defect triage and rollback plans, and provide end-to-end transparency to leadership. </li><li>Utilize tools such as SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, JIRA, and other ITSM tools to manage and report on release progress and issues. </li><li>Act as the central point of communication for all release activities, including status updates, go/no-go decisions, and escalation resolution. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>7+ years of SAP release management experience, with at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA program deployments. </li><li>Strong understanding of SAP landscape strategy, including parallel landscapes (N+1 project and support environments). </li><li>Experience with SAP TMS, cutover planning, transport path governance, and managing dual-stream (project + support) code deployments. </li><li>Familiarity with Agile/SAFe delivery models, and coordination across multiple scrum teams and ARTs. </li><li>Hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM), JIRA, and other ALM tools. </li><li>Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. </li></ul> <p>Category Code: JN008</p>
