<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Engineer III in Davie, FL.</p> <p>Summary: The primary focus will be LAN, WAN, SD-WAN for on and off premise along with Wireless, firewall, internet connectivity and VPN to a lesser extent. The Network Administrator will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Network team in an environment that fosters cross-training and voluntary knowledge transfer.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Configuration and implementation of Network systems and applications </li><li>Troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of LAN/WAN/Wireless/Firewall/Voice systems </li><li>Monitoring system performance and recommending adjustments to ensure maximum system availability and performance levels </li><li>Participating in internal and business partner meetings </li><li>After-hours on-call support and incident management </li><li>Following service level agreements (SLAs) to align with operational performance goals </li><li>Designing, developing, deploying, and administering enterprise collaboration services </li><li>Works with other network team members to support projects and work at times lead on a project </li><li>Participating in product evaluations, systems testing, certification, and product lifecycle management </li><li>Providing guidance and mentorship to team members* Experience with Cisco, HPE/Aruba, Palo Alto, and VeloCloud </li><li>Broad knowledge of networking and telecommunications </li><li>Knowledge of network protocols, architecture, and security </li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills </li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills </li><li>Strong analytical and technical skills </li></ul> <p>Technical Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Cisco LAN Switching with Nexus and Catalyst products </li><li>Hands On configuration in Cisco CLI, Velo Cloud SD-WAN, Palo Firewalls, and Wireless Controllers </li><li>Configure and follow standard for Network protocols, architecture, and security </li></ul> <p>Preferred Certification:</p> <ul> <li>Cisco CCIE in Route/Switch or Data Center </li><li>Cisco CCNP R/S </li><li>Cisco CCNA Route/Switching </li><li>Major Firewall Wall Certifications like Pal Alto </li></ul>
