<p>GENERAL STATEMENT: This assignment consists of assisting and working in collaboration with the HVAC teachers to deliver curriculum and support the learning experiences of students.</p> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge and experience working with adolescents </li><li>Knowledge of and/or ability to learn specific educational technology software programs </li></ul> <p>PERFORMANCE ACCOUNTABILITIES: The Delivery of Instruction</p> <ul> <li>Work in the technical program setting (i.e. classrooms, lab) to support all students in collaboration with the classroom teachers, special educators and department lead teachers </li><li>Assist individual students in the completion of hands-on and written assignments </li><li>Assist in preparing and distributing specialized instructional material </li><li>Assist students in utilizing educational technology </li><li>Ability to multi-task and balance a variety of job responsibilities throughout the workday </li></ul> <p>Records and Reports</p> <ul> <li>Prepare paperwork, compile data, and maintain records as necessary </li><li>Maintain files for tests, worksheets and other items </li></ul> <p>Professional Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support the philosophy and mission statement of the school </li><li>Participate in professional development activities offered by the district </li><li>Maintain professional dress, punctuality, and attendance </li><li>Establish a professional, courteous working relationship with staff and students </li><li>Maintain the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information as is expected of fully licensed teachers </li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director of Career and Technical Education Position Type: Full-time Positions Available: 1 Job Category : Instructional Support >Substitute: Teachers </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer Assabet Valley Reg.
