<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.</p> <p>This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, TriCounty Stabilization Center, 3685 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405</p> <p>Responsibilities for this Position Title include but are not limited to:</p> <p>Provide supervision to employees serving the Tri-County Stabilization Center through Charleston Dorchester Mental Health Center.</p> <p>Provide Clinical Supervision to Staff</p> <p>Ensure staff meets Patient Care Hour expectation.</p> <p>Ensure team operates in an efficient manner</p> <p>Orients and provides ongoing evaluation of staff</p> <p>Prepares budget for area of responsibility.</p> <p>Ensure patient functionality is measured by DLA 20 as required.</p> <p>Ensure team meets quality assurance standards, and databases and tracking systems are accurate.</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>State Minimum Requirements:</p> <p>A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in a mental health, human service or social service program.</p> <p>Agency (Facility) Minimum Requirements:</p> <p>A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited program, university, college in psychology, social work, counseling, MFT, or other behavioral discipline deemed equivalent by SCDMH and three (3) year post-graduate experience in a clinical counseling program.</p> <p>Note: If any Agency Requirements are listed above, applicants must also meet those requirements to be considered for the position.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Working knowledge of Mental Health legal principles and practices, of methods, principles and practices of clinical counseling and educational services; considerable knowledge of psychopathology and patient management in psychiatric setting; working knowledge of basic health and welfare services provided by other agencies ; ability to effectively plan, coordinate and manage complex treatment and to the ability to conduct detailed investigations, draw conclusions and recommend required actions.</p> <p>Additional Comments</p> <ul> <li>This position is considered and may require reporting for duty in the event of weather or similar emergency events.
