<p>Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):</p> <p>Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in hand by position start. Recent experience in conducting human subject's research. Experience working directly with human subjects.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) field relevant to human subjects research, e.g. Psychology. Experience working with psychiatric patients in research or clinical context. Experience with current psychological assessments. Experience recruiting participants into studies. Experience collaborating with colleagues on research.</p> <p>Brief Description of Duties:</p> <p>The Research Support Specialist (RSS) will coordinate studies of psychiatric disorders. The incumbent will work with people with mental disorders, using cutting-edge research methods. The incumbent will coordinate efforts of a team of specialists. Also, the RSS will maintain the integrity of collected data in electronic databases. The successful incumbent must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Complete assessment of participants. </li><li>Coordinate participant appointments. </li><li>Recruit, screen and schedule research participants. </li><li>Maintain collected data in an electronic database. </li><li>Maintain study protocol documents and IRB compliance. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Special Notes:</p> <p>The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation.
