<p>Life Enrichment Coordinator/Activity Coordinator</p> <p>Silver Birch of Kokomo</p> <p>We are looking for a Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team at Silver Birch of Kokomo. You will be responsible for creating and implementing community activity programs that appropriately engage residents.</p> <p>What's in it for you:</p> <ul> <li>Health, Dental, and Vision insurance available </li><li>Pay on Demand </li><li>Work with a high quality, collaborative team </li><li>Generous Paid Time Off </li><li>Growth opportunities </li><li>Fun community events! </li></ul> <p>What you'll be doing:</p> <ul> <li>Organizes, communicates, and facilitates move-in day experience for new residents and families as well as monitors and encourages resident transition into community lifestyle </li><li>Actively identifies resident's interests and preferences to design engaging programming </li><li>Actively seeks feedback on ways to improve the resident experience; including facilitating the resident satisfaction survey process </li><li>Ensures the Resident Council meets monthly, minutes are taken and posted; as well as attend upon invitation </li><li>Ensures aesthetics of all life enrichment community areas are inviting, safe and appropriate for residents and families </li><li>Plans, creates and executes a monthly calendar that infuses core values and incorporates the dimensions of wellness and community calendar event standards </li><li>Works closely with sales and marketing to plan & promote prospect experiences at the community </li><li>Creates monthly newsletter promoting activities and distribute to residents and families </li><li>Contributes to the community Facebook page through uploading posts </li><li>Orders, secures, and maintains supplies for activities </li><li>Provides input into the life enrichment budget, implements and controls the expenses, and submits monthly expense report </li><li>Manages and oversees the General Store per policy </li><li>Facilitates community van transportation for residents to appointments and events </li></ul> <p>What we're looking for:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Two (2) or more years of experience working with seniors </li><li>Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance </li><li>NCCAP (Activities Professional) certification required </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Ability to collaborate with others for a common goal </li><li>Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external contacts </li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Strong customer service orientation </li><li>Ability to adapt schedule to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours, as needed </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and web proficiency </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>Silver Birch Living provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, veteran status, disability or genetics.</p> <p>#SBL1</p>
