<p>This is responsible work in coordinating, supervising, and participating in the daily operation and maintenance of the Historic Manhattan Casino, a newly renovated meeting and event venue, involving marketing, booking, contracting, maintenance, event set-up, teardown, and operation of fixtures and facility equipment. Work includes planning, assigning, scheduling and supervising the activities of all personnel involved in the Manhattan Casino daily operations and related activities; serving as event manager for all scheduled events including fielding booking inquiries and working with clients to ascertain event needs and billing; overseeing and preparing ongoing reports for the Manhattan Casino activity records including accounting records of all revenue operations; and assists in promoting and marketing interest in the Manhattan Casino. This position requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</p> <p>Salary: $65,863 - $106,174</p> <p>Close Date: 05-05-2026 (11:59 PM)</p> <p>To Qualify</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications. Applicants must:</p> <ul> <li>Possess a valid high school diploma or GED equivalency. </li><li>Possess and maintain a valid Driver License. </li><li>Have considerable experience and knowledge of event services, booking, concessions, and public safety. </li><li>Have considerable experience successfully administering the principles, practices and techniques of public relations and customer service work. </li><li>Have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with event promoters and producers, employees, public officials, community leaders, and the general public. </li><li>Have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing. </li><li>Have considerable experience training and supervising personnel. </li><li>Have the ability to enforce rules and regulations with tact, firmness and impartiality. </li><li>Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. </li></ul> <p>Desirable Qualifications. Preferred applicants:</p> <ul> <li>Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Public Relations, with one year experience. </li><li>Have progressive, professional experience in marketing and sales, public facility rentals, public relations, and event management. </li><li>Have experience developing Standard Operating Procedures. </li><li>Are highly motivated to identify opportunities for improvement in services, and to implement desirable operational and procedural changes. </li><li>Are able to outline and direct staffing, including contingency plans, for handling a variety of events and activities. </li></ul> <p>Selection Process</p> <p>IMPORTANT APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS</p> <p>For purposes of employment, re-employment, promotion, transfer or demotion, the most qualified applicants will be selected to continue in the hiring process.
