<p>Work Schedule</p> <p>Standard (Mon-Fri)</p> <p>Environmental Conditions</p> <p>Office</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>How you will make an impact:</p> <p>The Sr Financial Analyst is part of Semi BU Finance team and responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Preparing accurate and timely analyses that capture and communicate business results, variances, and performance trends and make recommendations to drive improvement. </li><li>Coordinate with all involved parties to prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial deliverables (including forecasts) and presentations and ensure all deadlines are met. </li><li>Investigate and validate variations in the financial metrics in order to recommend and assist in business decisions that result in improved financial results. </li></ul> <p>The scope of responsibilities involves FP&A planning, analysis & reporting to implement financial goals and initiatives to support a growing organization. This role will also be the main finance partner for the LED Marketing function.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li>Develop, standardize, and improve regular analyses and reports to share business and financial insights, and support monthly /quarterly /annual forecasting and budgeting process (i.e. support MBR, QBR, AOP, etc.) </li><li>Build and update dashboards, PowerPoint and other business intelligence tools by data-mining in various systems </li><li>Independently investigate data issues and/or information given, ask pertinent questions and identify root causes, collaborate with functional business partners and system support to improve data quality </li><li>Work closely with business partners to generate key assumptions and drivers for strategic decision support, independently conduct ad-hoc data analysis to identify business insights and observations </li><li>Partner with the LED business unit teams in setting and delivering annual, long-range, and quarterly business plans to meet key operating and financial goals </li><li>Analyze transactional / operational data, identify anomalies, recommend accruals / reversals to ensure accurate reporting for the marketing function </li><li>Translate business inputs into financial assumptions, build and maintain forecast models to project future business trends, results, etc. covering areas including revenue, FX, operating expense, etc. </li><li>Proactively learn and adopt new systems and tools (including AI) to improve analytics capability and accuracy </li></ul> <p>How you will get here:</p> <p>Education</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business related field</p> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>3+ years proven experience in finance </li><li>Prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organization </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Proficient user of systems (i.e. CMR, Hyperion Planning, Power BI, Cognos, Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) </li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to summarize and present information in a concise and effective manner </li><li>Attention to detail and consistently delivering high quality work. Ability to learn quickly, deliver results, and multi-task in deadline driven environment </li><li>Good understanding of business processes and operations & financial controls, able to identify control weaknesses in existing process and recommend mitigation actions </li></ul>
