<p>The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a transformational HR leader shaping the future of our people strategy. As the Executive Director of Human Resources, you'll partner closely with the CHRO to lead enterprise-wide initiatives across total rewards, culture, engagement, performance, and compliance. This is a high-impact role for a bold, strategic thinker who thrives on driving change, building strong teams, and elevating the employee experience.</p> <p>What You'll Lead</p> <ul> <li>Total Rewards Innovation: Build competitive, equitable compensation and benefits strategies that attract and retain top talent. </li><li>Culture & Engagement: Spark belonging, alignment, and organizational pride through dynamic engagement and recognition programs. </li><li>Performance Excellence: Strengthen leadership capability, ensure consistent performance practices, and guide succession planning. </li><li>Compliance & Risk: Safeguard the organization through strong policy governance, investigations, and employment law compliance. </li><li>People Leadership: Coach and develop HR leaders while championing DEI, learning, and continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field. </li><li>At least 8 years of progressive HR leadership experience across compensation, performance, and compliance. </li><li>Expertise in total rewards and employment law. </li><li>Executive presence, strategic mindset, and strong communication skills. </li><li>Passion for culture-building, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making. </li><li>Schedule flexibility. Typical business hours are 9am-5pm, Monday -Friday.
