Assist Ph.D. candidate in molecule and material synthesis and characterization.</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Synthetic (in)organic chemistry</p> </li><li> <p>Lab maintenance and safety protocols</p> </li><li> <p>Molecular and material characterization</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field</p> </li><li> <p>Research experience with halogen bonding tectons</p> </li><li> <p>Research experience with mechanochemical crystallization</p> </li><li> <p>Synthetic organic chemistry</p> </li><li> <p>Design of halogen bonding tectons and synthons</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in synthetic chemistry group focused on halogen bonding crystal engineering </li></ul> <p>Colorado School of Mines is committed to equal opportunity for all persons.
