The Parts Delivery Driver ensures the safe, timely, and accurate movement of parts between company warehouses and customer locations.</p> <p>Schedule</p> <ul> <li>Part-time </li><li>Hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM </li><li>Monday, Wednesday, Friday </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <ul> <li>$16.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience </li><li>401K with 4% match </li><li>Annual safety shoe allowance </li></ul> <p>Culture and Environment</p> <ul> <li>Career advancement opportunities </li><li>Company training programs </li><li>Clean, modern facilities </li><li>State of the art equipment </li><li>Employee driven continuous improvement programs </li><li>Performance recognition and rewards program </li><li>Supportive leadership </li><li>Learning environment </li><li>Safe work standards </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Pick, load and deliver orders, verifying quantities and part number match to invoice </li><li>Utilize dispatch software to ensure efficient delivery route and communicate accurate ETA to customers </li><li>Obtain of proof of delivery </li><li>Facilitate customer returns utilizing proper company forms </li><li>Collect payment for all COD customers </li><li>Obey all federal and state motor vehicle laws </li><li>Maintain professional appearance, including appropriate company provided apparel </li><li>Uphold vehicle cleanliness, including pre/post trip inspections </li><li>Alert supervisor to needed repairs to vehicles and/or equipment </li><li>Complete all assigned training including: independent web based and in person classroom offerings, prior to due dates </li><li>Ensure all assigned training certifications are up to date </li><li>Assist in training new staff members as assigned </li><li>Assist in additional department roles and responsibilities as assigned by Parts Manager </li></ul> <p>Required Skills & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Basic technological efficiency of Android tablets </li><li>Strong interpersonal and customer service skills </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Organization and time management </li><li>Strong verbal communication skills </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must have valid driver's license </li><li>Must have clean driving record </li><li>DOT medical card a plus </li><li>Able to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds </li><li>Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform required tasks </li><li>Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods </li><li>Must be able to maintain stationary positions throughout the work day </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required </li></ul> <p>Advantage Truck Group (ATG) is the largest Western Star and Freightliner dealer in New England with eight locations in Massachusetts, Vermont and New Hampshire, focused on providing a superior employee experience.
