<p>Molder</p> <p>In this job you will be responsible for shaping molds or mold sections using such machines as: automatic molding machine, air-set sand mixer, rota-lift and jolt-squeeze molding machines..</p> <p>As a Molder you will:</p> <ul> <li>Select and assemble appropriate flask equipment and patterns. </li><li>Position patterns in flasks, fills flasks with sand, ramming the sand around the pattern with tools, hands and use of molding machines. </li><li>Prepare molds for drawing of patterns and repairing damage to mold impressions in sand as may be necessary. </li><li>Select and sets in position appropriate cores and/or chills. Vents molds as necessary. </li><li>Assemble cope and drag sections of mold and places mold on pouring conveyor </li><li>Report production quantities and times for each work order. </li><li>Report worn pattern equipment to supervisors </li></ul> <p>We are looking for someone who:</p> <ul> <li>Has a High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development </li><li>Ideally has experience in a foundry or manufacturing </li><li>Math, computer, and communication skills are necessary </li><li>Is able to read instructions and understand verbal instructions in English </li></ul> <p>The physical demands of the job are:</p> <ul> <li>Work is classified as Heavy Physical Demand Level (PDL) by the US Dept of Labor's Dictionary of Occupational Titles </li><li>Frequencies - Occasional (1-33%); Frequent (34-66%); Continuous (67-100%) </li><li>Lifting Demands: </li><li>Lift 100 lbs. on an occasional basis floor to waist. </li><li>Lift 75 lbs. on an occasional basis floor to chest. </li><li>Lift 50 lbs. on an occasional basis floor to shoulder. </li><li>Carry 75 lbs. on an occasional basis up to 25 feet. </li></ul> <p>What we offer you:</p> <p>Pay Range is typically between $20 - $24 per hour</p> <p>Please note the pay information shown above is a general guideline.
