<p>Job Overview:</p> <p>LFG Specialties LLC, an APTIM company, located in Findlay, Ohio, is growing and in need of a qualified Co-op/intern to join our team. We are a leading original equipment manufacturer of landfill gas extraction, compression, combustion (i.e. flares), and leachate remediation equipment utilized in the solid waste industry. This will be a temporary position.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for coordination between the service manager and the team members (technicians, shop, project managers) including: tools drawings and parts are ready for each job. </li><li>Responsible for programing small parts sales (controllers) through working with the Sales Manager and the shipping/receiving department. </li><li>Strong communication will be needed with the service manager, service technicians through technical and administrative support for our landfill gas service department. </li><li>Organizes and coordinates projects' documentation (drawings, reports, safety paperwork, calibrations, etc.) in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements. </li><li>Modification/design using AutoCAD for field work, given from service technicians, to clean up AS LEFT documentation. Design improvements/suggestion to system to be presented to the Service and Project Managers. </li><li>Work in Shop environment through the fabrication process for quality assurance checks. </li><li>Travel to site will be expected once per rotation. </li><li>Ensures effective communications. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li><li>Project within Service with a deliverable due before for the end of the rotation, expected report and presentation after each rotation on the project, lessons learned and growth potential. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Successful candidate will possess willingness to learn, adapt and overcome obstacles in both electrical and mechanical areas. </li><li>Experience will include both industrial (shop) environment and engineering (office) settings. </li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills are required. </li><li>Strong candidate will be self-motivated and offer solutions to work priorities and schedules. </li><li>Exposure to PLC logic is preferred. </li><li>Candidate must have a firm grasp of engineering principles. </li><li>Exposure to AutoCAD drafting experience preferred. </li><li>Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA with at least 60 hours of coursework completed </li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age </li><li>Must have experience with MS Office software </li><li>Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills </li><li>Must be a self-starter, excel in time management, and work well under pressure </li></ul> <p>ABOUT APTIM</p> <p>APTIM is committed to accelerating the transition toward a clean and efficient energy economy, building a sustainable future for our communities and natural world, and creating a more inclusive and equitable environment that celebrates the diversity of our communities.
