This leader will oversee multiple Directors and their teams, ensuring operational reliability while driving modernization, system consolidation, and digital transformation.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be a?driver and catalyst?for change-shaping and executing IT strategy, building trusted partnerships with business leaders, and ensuring that technology enables productivity, compliance, and innovation. Spanish and English fluency is a strong plus.</p> <p>Succession & Enterprise Impact</p> <p>This role is a critical member of the IT Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CIO, with enterprise-wide visibility and influence. The Senior Director, Operations CIO, will play a central role in shaping the IT operating model for a newly independent, publicly traded med tech company. This position is designed for a dynamic leader with aspirations for greater leadership opportunities and the potential to take on expanded responsibilities in the future.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Leadership & Business Partnership</p> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as the senior IT business partner for?Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D/Product Enablement?functions.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team and their organizations.</p> </li><li> <p>Translate business priorities into IT strategies, roadmaps, and deliverables.</p> </li><li> <p>Build strong, trusted relationships with site leaders, supply chain leadership, quality executives, and R&D leaders.</p> </li></ul> <p>IT Operations & Service Delivery</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ensure reliable, secure, and compliant IT operations for:</p> </li><li> <p>Manufacturing IT at Juncos and Northridge</p> </li><li> <p>Various contract manufacturing partners</p> </li><li> <p>Quality technology stack, including QMS solutions</p> </li><li> <p>R&D/Product enablement platforms and tools</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee prioritization, execution, and delivery of IT projects, enhancements, and support.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive operational excellence through standardized processes, KPIs, and accountability.</p> </li></ul> <p>Transformation & Modernization</p> <ul> <li> <p>Act as a catalyst for?modernization, system consolidation, and digital transformation?across operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with ERP teams to support the transition from?SAP ECC to S/4HANA, ensuring integration with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Advance?MES capabilities?(Factoryworx) to drive productivity, compliance, and automation.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate closely with the?Enterprise Architecture?team to ensure future-ready system design, and with the?Cybersecurity?team to embed security into R&D and product innovation processes.</p> </li></ul> <p>Governance & Strategy Alignment</p> <ul> <li> <p>Align operational IT strategies with corporate and functional roadmaps.</p> </li><li> <p>Champion change management, ensuring adoption and business impact.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with all regulatory, audit, and FDA requirements in manufacturing and quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive accountability and transparency through scorecards, business reviews, and KPI tracking.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of 15 years of progressive IT leadership experience, with 10+ years of managerial experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 13-year prior relevant experience, minimum of 10 years of managerial experience.</p> </li><li> <p>15+ years of proven experience in supporting global supply chain, manufacturing, and quality functions required. PR) locations (USD):$206,400.00 - $309,600.00</p> <p>This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).</p> <p>This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.</p> <p>The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
