You will be performing hardware tasks like hooking up monitors and connecting equipment to systems and will be utilizing an agency-provided iPhone and laptop to conduct tasks. You will also perform computer upgrades/replacements, as well as repair laptop/iPhone issues by troubleshooting and ordering required parts.</p> <p>You will work as a team of three. There will be a rotation of helpdesk coverage. When on the helpdesk, you will have the option to work from home. When completing workstation support, you will be required to work in the office.</p> <p>Job Duties (Summary):</p> <ul> <li>Installs, configures, redeploys, and documents workstations, printers, and software to meet agency needs </li><li>Troubleshoots complex technical issues using knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills </li><li>Serves as the first point of contact for IT support; resolves hardware, software, network, and phone-related issues </li><li>Provides user support via phone, remote access, or in-person; offers courteous customer education and service </li><li>Coordinates and implements hardware and software changes, including OS upgrades </li><li>Analyzes and documents workstation issues; identifies trends and recommends solutions </li><li>Travels between agency sites to support users and understand their IT needs </li><li>Maintains advanced IT knowledge; supports network connectivity and assists with projects </li><li>Demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and cooperation </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Ideal candidates for Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services:</p> <ul> <li>Have a passion for improving others' lives, demonstrated through superior customer service </li><li>Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and an appreciation for the work behind providing social services to the community </li><li>Value a purpose-driven culture, supportive team members, and organizational commitment to growth and innovation </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in a related field and at least one year of relevant experience, OR three years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree </li><li>Ability to travel within Hamilton County as needed </li><li>Must be able to pass criminal background checks, drivers abstract, and various abuser registry checks </li></ul> <p>Work Location:</p> <p>Hybrid - remote and at HCDDS Support Center: 1520 Madison Road, Cincinnati, OH, 45206</p> <p>This position follows a hybrid-remote schedule, combining remote work with in-person responsibilities. Employees are expected to travel within the county to meet with individuals and attend in-office meetings as needed.
