<p>The South Shore Charter Public School is seeking to fill the role of a part time 10 hours per week (M-F 2 hours per day) Food Services Assistant. The Food Services Assistant will be responsible for: Distribution of meals in designated eating spaces Assists with the supervision of students during meal time Circulates among the tables during the mealtime so as to be available to children who need help or resolve problems that arise Assist faculty with transporting students to and from eating spaces or to the bathroom Assist the Food Services Coordinator with handing out meals Assist the Food Services Coordinator with cleaning and sanitizing students tables or desks prior to and after eating and assisting with trash disposal Help students develop proper eating habits in the areas of manners and nutrition Informs administration of any serious infraction of discipline rules by students Observe students not eating lunch and call to the attention of the Food Services Coordinator Ensures the cleanliness of tables and surrounding areas by washing tables when students leave the cafeteria. Assist in establishing, implementing and supervising orderly disposal of food waste, and dismissal from eating areas Performs other related duties as assigned such as substitute coverage for the Food Services Coordinator, checking meal deliveries and meal counts.
