Participate in didactic instruction including clinical rotations.</p> <p>20% Other duties as assigned including emergency duties.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>DVM degree or equivalent</p> <p>Specific experience: Successful completion of a one-year rotating internship or anesthesia internship or equivalent related veterinary experience.</p> <p>Minimum Certifications/Licenses:</p> <p>Eligible for Louisiana faculty DVM licensure</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>DVM</p> <p>Specific experience: One year experience teaching Anesthesia and Analgesia (didact or clinical)</p> <p>Additional Job Description:</p> <p>Special or Physical Qualifications:</p> <p>Physical Requirements-Required to be cable of lifting more than 50 pounds, standing or walking for prolonged periods, vision near sight, vision far sight, able to reach above and below the shoulder, pushing, pulling, grasping, sitting, bending, climbing, crawling, squatting, and/or twisting.</p> <ul> <li>Due to the nature of this position and/or responsibilities, this position is subject to random drug & alcohol testing in accordance with University Policy Statement 67* </li></ul> <p>We teach.
