<p>2025-2026 Anticipated Vacancy Special Education Teacher Grades 5-8 Lynnfield Middle School</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Severe special needs certification and/or moderate disabilities is required </li><li>SEI Endorsement </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>BCBA certification or prior ABA experience working with children with academic/behavioral challenges</p> </li><li> <p>Provide direct academic and social/emotional instruction</p> </li><li> <p>Experience coordinating and supervising a team of paraprofessionals working with students throughout the school setting</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with general education teachers, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, district BCBA, direct providers, and other special educators</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for following the student IEP and ensuring compliance with state and federal SPED regulations, including the delivery of high-quality services, and the provision of accommodations/modifications for instruction and assessment</p> </li><li> <p>Experience developing/modifying social, emotional, academic curriculum, and behavioral programs for a wide variety of learning profiles</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with working with teachers to ensure inclusive opportunities for students with varying needs</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with analyzing and interpreting standardized testing results</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with data collection and progress monitoring tools. Experience with the Autism Curriculum Encyclopedia preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with co-teaching and inclusion support</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with effective and consistent parent/guardian communication</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working with students with autism, social/emotional diagnoses, and behavioral challenges is strongly preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Performance of other job-related duties as assigned</p> </li></ul>
