<p>Automation Service Engineer</p> <p>Pieper Automation is expanding and is looking for its next Automation Service Engineer to provide service and support to customers throughout Southern WI that require troubleshooting/repair of automation systems. If you have a service mindset, a knack for troubleshooting, and are looking to grow your career, we want to talk to you! This position will involve local travel throughout southern WI.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <p>Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction</p> <p>Some programming and small project duties in office</p> <p>Work with team to coordinate after hours and weekend emergency service calls.</p> <p>Work independently; begin each day with a plan to execute scheduled tasks and adapt quickly to changes.</p> <p>Experience & Skills:</p> <p>Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial controls (PLC, HMI, VFD, SCADA) and field service work; or 5 years minimum experience in industrial electrical field service and an advanced knowledge of wiring practices (NEC, UL).</p> <p>Minimum of 2 years of vocational or technical training in job related field, preferably construction electrical, industrial electrical, Automation System Technology, or similar discipline</p> <p>A strong commitment to safety, placing safety as a priority above all else.</p> <p>Must have a desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediately.</p> <p>Knowledge and experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens control systems along with others is required.</p> <p>Strong customer service skills with the ability to understand the customer's point-of-view</p> <p>Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with various levels of personnel including customers, vendors, managers, field and office workers</p> <p>Pieper Automation is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
