<p>The Vollrath Company is seeking a Bilingual HR Specialist to join our team at our Dane, Wisconsin facility as well as corporate initiatives. This position will play a key role in supporting our diverse workforce by providing HR services and ensuring effective communication across the organization. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for fostering an inclusive workplace.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Employee Relations:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs in both English and Spanish. </li><li>Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts, ensuring a positive and productive work environment. </li><li>Support the HR team in conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions as necessary. </li><li>Recruitment and Onboarding: </li><li>Assist with the recruitment process by conducting interviews, coordinating hiring events, and participating in the selection of candidates. </li><li>Conduct new hire orientations and ensure all onboarding documentation is completed and processed accurately. </li><li>Translate job descriptions, training materials, and other HR documents as needed to support non-English-speaking employees. </li><li>Training and Development: </li><li>Collaborate with the HR team to develop and deliver training programs in both English and Spanish, focusing on compliance, safety, and professional development. </li><li>Facilitate workshops and training sessions that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace. </li></ul> <p>HR Administration:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance data. </li><li>Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, claims processing, and communication of benefit options. </li><li>Prepare and distribute HR reports and analytics as requested by management. </li><li>Attend department/shift meetings to support Operations in communicating company information. </li><li>Compliance and Policy Implementation: </li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including those related to wage and hour, equal employment opportunity, and workplace safety. </li><li>Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are effectively communicated to all employees. </li><li>Assist in coordinating safety and compliance initiatives in collaboration with the Safety/Operations teams. </li><li>Inclusion: </li><li>Act as a cultural liaison between the company and its bilingual employees, fostering an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and understood. </li><li>Promote awareness and appreciation of cultural diversity within the organization </li><li>Work with corporate HR team and Inclusion Excellence team on companywide DEI initiatives </li></ul> <p>Primarily office-based, with occasional visits to the manufacturing floor.</p> <p>Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate different shifts and meet with employees as needed. (Operations: 1st Shift: 6:30am-3pm, 2nd Shift: 2:30-11pm, 3rd Shift: 10:30pm-7am)</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a bilingual role. </li><li>Experience in manufacturing or similar industry is a plus. </li><li>5 years of experience translating Spanish and English professionally. </li><li>Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field a plus </li><li>Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages. </li><li>Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems. </li><li>Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. </li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
