You can also participate in our 401(k) plan with company match and explore post-tax Roth IRA options to secure your financial future. </li><li>Established Legacy: Join a team of over 1000 employees contributing to our success since 1960, with a proven track record of excellence in mechanical contracting. </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>The HVAC DX System Installer performs all phases for the complete installation of mini split systems, split systems, water source heat pump/exchangers, and rooftop air conditioning units in both new commercial construction and retrofit project capacities. </li><li>Throughout the project, the HVAC DX System Installer will be relied on to take personal ownership of upholding the values for which we are known: quality, integrity, safety, and teamwork. </li><li>Installs refrigerant piping using proper installation practices while adhering to all codes, regulations, laws, and best practices. </li><li>Sets and/or mounts condensing units, air handlers, water source heat pumps, and oversees the placement of larger rooftop air conditioning units. </li><li>Runs and installs low voltage control wiring thermostats and zone dampers. </li><li>Demonstrates proficient skill independently within B&I standardized budgeted labor hours while communicating with customer in a professional manor the status of installation projects. </li><li>Upon installation completion, performs system startup and checks to ensure proper operation. </li><li>Purchases, maintains, and replaces required tools as designated for the HVAC DX System Installer. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrates a solid working knowledge of HAVC mechanical equipment and installation practices including, but not limited to, maintaining skillful use of piping activities and related tools and machines. </li><li>Holds a minimum of a Type II EPA Certification. </li><li>Ability to visualize three-dimensional objects from drawings, sketches, schematics, and blueprints. </li><li>Capability to evaluate information using measurable standards. </li><li>Hold a current and valid Florida Driver's License. </li><li>Possesses proficient written and verbal communication skills, detailed organizational skills, and accurately calculates construction/shop math. </li><li>Ability to use software for calendars, planning, and workflow processes, </li><li>Drug test, background check and a clean driving record are pre-employment requirements. </li><li>Must be able to see well (either naturally or with correction); use hands, fingers, arms and legs fully; lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl; climb and balance on ladders and scaffolds; stand for long periods of time. </li></ul> <p>Join us today and build a brighter future with B&I Contractors, Inc. - where you're not just an employee, but an owner!</p> <p>#Bandi1</p>
