<p>We are a Manchester-based school dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for our students. We are seeking a reliable and responsible Part-Time Driver to join our team and ensure students are transported safely to and from school.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Part-Time School Driver will be responsible for transporting students between home and school each morning and afternoon, following designated routes and schedules. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and enjoys working with children. There will also be a monitor and no more than 8 children picked up all located in Manchester.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Safely transport students to and from school according to established routes and schedules </li><li>Maintain a punctual and reliable schedule, Monday-Friday (mornings and afternoons) </li><li>Ensure the safety of all passengers at all times </li><li>Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs </li><li>Follow all traffic laws and school transportation policies </li><li>Communicate effectively with school staff, students, and families as needed </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Connecticut driver's license with a V endorsement (required) or willing to be trained. </li><li>Clean driving record </li><li>Prior experience driving professionally (school, childcare, or transportation setting) preferred </li><li>Reliable, responsible, and safety-focused </li><li>Ability to interact respectfully and patiently with children and families </li><li>Must pass background check and required screenings </li></ul> <p>Schedule & Hours:</p> <ul> <li>Monday through Friday, mornings and afternoons (split shift schedule).
