<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Reports to - IT Customer Experience Manager</p> <ul> <li>(This is an in-office position with 1 remote work day per week)* </li></ul> <p>Job Summary: NEFCO is seeking out a skilled and talented Level 1 Help Desk Technician that is self-driven, disciplined, dependable, and professional. The role will be to mainly provide skilled and professional IT support at our HQ location as well as supporting our other branches and users remotely.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Provide outstanding customer service experience to all levels of the organization from entry level to executive. </li><li>Perform level 1 help desk support, including diagnosis, testing, and repair of hardware and software issues. Hardware includes desktop PCs, laptops, printers, desk phones, faxes, and mobile devices. Software including but not limited to MS Office suite, Autodesk, Epicor Eclipse, Adobe Products. </li><li>Basic understanding of Client/Server network environment as well as VPN technology </li><li>Triage support requests as they come in and escalate as needed. </li><li>Handling multiple user inquires and requests in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Document all support issues in IT ticketing system. </li><li>Use remote-control software to assist off-site staff / branch offices. </li><li>Log documentation of findings and resolutions as tickets/requests are being worked on. </li><li>Deploy new hardware systems and software applications to end users such as a new hire or end user upgrade. </li><li>Assist with inventory of parts and equipment. </li><li>Assist with efficient and proper disposal of expired hardware. </li><li>Configure and deploy mobile devices to end users. </li><li>Perform after hours support as part of a rotating on-call schedule </li><li>Assist in providing support for server-based applications and for IT related systems (e.g. videoconference, IP phones, etc.) </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years' experience working in End User Desktop Support </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or mix of Associates and/or additional IT experience </li><li>Excellent communication & documentation skills - Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 Operating Systems, </li><li>Working knowledge or experience with VoIP, current mobile devices (iPhone & Android) </li><li>Experience with Dell Business Class Desktops and Laptops a plus </li><li>Experience with HP and Zebra Printers a plus </li><li>Experience with Ticketing Systems </li><li>Experience with Mitel Phone Systems a plus - Experience with Epicor Solar Eclipse a plus </li><li>Ability to lift equipment and boxes of 40+ pounds on occasion </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Freshservice </li><li>Experience with NinjaOneJob </li></ul>
